Upon seeing the Crepelato billboard where I am one of the featured endorsers, a lot of people notice and compliment my gorgeous hair. While I credit my long thick mane to fabulous genes, I am able to maintain it and keep it gorgeous and chic with the help of Envy Me Salon.
Last year, I had my hair treated and dyed for the very first time. Back then, I settled for mahogany brown hair which was not a far cry from my jet black natural hair color.
This year, I decided things would be much more daring. I tried to have my hair permed. Unfortunately, my hair fell flat after a few days. And I had to have it rebonded to restore its shine and straight-ness. After being rebonded, hair stylist Mel suggested I get a new hair color. He suggested red. And I agreed, but told him that I didn’t want flaming red hair that would look very unnatural. So after rebonding my hair, Mel mixed some red hair color with some brown hair color and applied it to my hair.
After chopping some inches off my already very long hair and styling with some layers for better volume, and a good dose of red + brown hair color, the result is my gorgeous hair style sor 2011. It is not so unique and new that I feel uncomfortable. It’s still long, thick, and straight.
But having it rebonded and colored added more body and shine to my hair. Because I had it rebonded, I avoid tying it up in a ponytail as I usually did. So I feel more feminine now with my long hair down all the time.
The red + brown color really gave my hair character which suits my outgoing and fierce personality. Mel always flatters me by telling me that any hair color will suit me since I have a nice light skin color. And most of the time, I choose to believe him. Hehe!
To maintain the shine of my hair, I have it undergo hair treatment (also called cellophane in most salons) every month. And this May, I’ll have my entire hair length dyed.
I’m thinking of maybe having a drastic hair cut for summer, what do you think?
