Skin Talk: Night 1

Tonight is the first time I’m trying out the Skin Talk Light Peel Duo. I am committing to this because Skin Talk is a Davao product and it promises to be a very good but affordable all in one skin care product. The Skin Talk Light Peel Duo is a two product system with four major functions:

• Sun Protection
• Acne Treatment
• Whitening
• Age Defying

All for the affordable price of only PhP450.

The Light Peel Duo consists of a Light Peel Solution and a Light Peel Cream. The products are borne from more than three years of research and testing by BioSkin‘s Gerardo and Victoria Evangelista. After ample research and development, the couple established Villa Cosmetico Ezzentialle with Skin Talk as it’s first line of products, and the Light Peel Duo as the launching products.

The Light Peel Duo promises to be a unique world class skin care product bearing two ingredients unique to Davao City: Davao water that is proven to be clean and safe based on international standards and Davao virgin coconut oil.

On my first night of testing, I used both the Light Peel Solution and the Light Peel Cream. First, I cleaned my face by using the Maybelline Make Up Remover and the Neutrogena Deep Clean Energizing Foaming Cleanser.

After cleansing, I used the Light Peel Solution as toner. I effectively removed the residue dirt and cleansing products on my skin. I like the toner because it didn’t have any strong alcohol smell. Moreover, it left my skin feeling smooth and soft, rather than dry.

When the solution already dried up, I applied a small portion of the Light Peel Cream. I don’t like putting on lotions, creams, and moisturizers on my face because I have oily skin and I don’t like the greasy feeling it leaves. Surprisingly, the Skin Talk Light Peel Cream didn’t feel greasy or heavy.

I’m starting to like this product. I hope my sensitive oily skin doesn’t react badly to it. I want to commit to trying out this product for 30 solid days. I shall be blogging here every now and then regarding my experiences, feedback, and other comments about the product.
