Purple on the Beach

Summer is ending here in out tropical side of the world, but I’d like to share a great halter summer dress I bought from SOUL…

It’s purple. In a dark shade. With a bold floral print which I wouldn’t usually go for, but my friends insisted. And I didn’t regret buying this.

I wore it with my Dark Silver Metallic Havaianas Slim which I got during the MYOH 2009 event. I also wore my silver dangling earrings which a lot of my friends covet. It looks intricate and heavy but it’s actually very light.

And to contrast the purple dress, I wore green eye make up to match the green print on the dress. I also put on some mascara to complete the eye make up.

For the rest of my face, I used Color Corrective Tinted Complex as sunblock and make up base, the Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Blush for cheek color, and the Maybelline Clear Smooth Powder Foundation for a smooth, even finish. Of course, there was some concealer involved too.

I wore the look not only to the beach, but also to the mall, and to a stand up comedy bar. The perfect summer look, day and night, indoors and outdoors, for me.
