My Crocs
I had to buy no slip close black shoes for my culinary classes. Knowing that the Mario Batali wears Crocs, I decided to buy one too.
I have never been a Crocs fan, but this was a necessity. And of late, Crocs have been releasing new styles, some of which might suit my needs, and my taste. So I browsed through the Chimes Specialty Store for the available Crocs. I found several styles that would fit my need, but it was only the Olivia that fit me well.

It has a slim fit and is very light. I was thinking maybe I can wear it with my other outfits, as well. It’s comfortable but the footbed kinda cause a bit of pain after sometime spent standing up and running around the kitchen. The best thing about it is it is no-slip, has a closed toe and a sling back. The Crocs site says it is anti-microbial and odor resistant.
I bought it at Chimes for P1,850, which is way below my budget of P3,000. Found out that it’s the latest style of Crocs flats.
While browsing through the Crocs site, I saw the Crocs Saffron, which is a work Crocs specifically designed for the restaurant, food service, healthcare and hospitality industries.

It looks heavier than the Olivia and seems like it is suited only for work. If I do work in the food service industry, I will consider buying one. It’s much more expensive at $59.99. But I’m sure it’s well worth it.
