Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation

For several months now, I have been using the Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation for my day and evening looks. Clear Smooth is Maybelline’s line of mineral make up designed with Asian complexion and skin in mind. I am using the B02 Natural Beige Ochre shade. I have forgone the Light Ochre shade which I used months ago because my skin reacts to the make up in such a way that the make up looks lighter as hours pass by.

What I like most about mineral make up is how light it feels on the face, as if I am not wearing any make up at all. And this is exactly how the Maybelline Powder Foundation feels like. Even if I retouch twice or thrice, my face still doesn’t feel too heavy.

I find that the Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation blends really well on my skin and with the other base, blush, highlighting, and bronzer products I use.

On days when I am out only for a short while, I put on my Elf Cover All Stick as concealer and set it with my Maybelline Clear Smooth Extra Shine Free Powder Foundation. This makes my under eye area look less puffy and lighter. I put on some blush or bronzer. Then, I use the Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation all over the face. This give me a light, fresh, natural look which make people wonder if I’m even wearing make up.

I use the MD Dermatics Color Corrective Tinted Complex as my sun protection and base make up for long working days. And I use the powder foundation on top of it. This combination gives my skin a smooth, satin finish which makes my face look flawless. The cream tinted complex helps the make up last longer.

And for evenings out, I use a liquid foundation that’s a shade darker than my skin tone as base and finish with the Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation. Again, the combination of liquid and powder foundation makes my skin have a smooth, satin-like finish. I just have to make sure I use oil control sheets to remove excess oil before I retouch with the Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation.

The powder foundation comes with a kabuki brush which I use to apply the powder foundation when I do make up on other people.

The Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation comes with an affordable price tag of P599. I use one package for around three months.

Dons, mineral make up does not contain any fillers or medium or it’s usually lighter and has better color pay off. :)

Hi SparkEnvy, I have fair yellowish skin. It’s best if you try the testers. Apply three tones near your jawline. The tone which blends best with your skin, would be the shade best for you.
