For the first time EVER, I had my hair dyed. Before I went to the salon, I consulted my friends and they suggested I get a light brown shade or a redding brown shade for my naturally jet black hair. When I went to the salon, I was overwhelmed by the number of brown shades. FAIL!

So I consulted Ada Dolosa and she suggested I get a mahogany brown shade from the L’Oreal Professionel Maji.lift line of products.

I quietly panicked when I first saw my new hair color, but saw that it was better after it was rinsed off and my hair dried. It’s actually lighter than what I was aiming for but I don’t regret it one bit.

The tone complements my skin tone and people have been telling me I look younger and softer. My jet black hair gave me a strong, harsh, intimidating look, they say. Some people even say I kinda look Korean. NUKS! I love it.

The hair color service costs P1,100 for my long hair. It costs P700 for short hair, P800 for medium length hair, and P1,500 for extra long hair.

I am looking forward to the next hair treatment I will be getting from Envy Me Salon. I think I’ll be getting some soft curls in June. What do you think?
