I rarely get eyebags and I have skin quite clearer than others. Nonetheless, I always have a concealer stick with me as I find it to be quite a good cream foundation for make up.
I learned this technique from Mel, my stylist from Envy Me Salon. Mel would use a concealer stick as foundation base. He would then set this with powder foundation. Mel suggested I buy one for myself and he suggested I buy a Fanny Serrano Concealer Stick since this is the brand he uses in the salon.
I found one, bought it, and I have been using it ever since. I use the Fanny Serrano Concealer Stick in Sand. It has a light shade that blends well with my skin. I then set it with some Natasha Beauty Matte Perfect Powder in Golden Beige, a darker shade of powder.
I use the concealer stick as foundation base day or night, especially when I’m out from day to night. I find that it makes my skin feel and look smooth and flawless.
Just like the other cosmetics in the Fanny Serrano line and the Natasha Beauty line, the Fanny Serrano Concealer Stick was designed to fit the Filipina skin and the Philippine weather. And I can attest to that. It blends well with my not quite morena, not quite mestiza skin. And even when it’s humid and hot, the product doesn’t feel sticky or icky on my face.
Unlike most other cream foundation products, the Fanny Serrano Concealer Stick feels light on the face. And it absorbs the excess oil on my face well. For re-touching, I just pat on more of the matte powder and my face feels fresh and smooth, with a bit of dewy-ness.
I am certainly gonna buy one of these concealer sticks again soon. This is now part of my everyday makeup routine.
The Fanny Serrano Cosmetics line is available with the Natasha Beauty line from Natasha retailers and distributors nationwide. For more information, visit the Natasha Business Website.
