The third brush in my e. l. f. Professional Make Up Brush Set is the Foundation Brush.

The Foundation Brush is a big brush with synthetic fibers that are bound compactly to the handle. The brush is designed to “achieve an ultra smooth, poreless finish when applying foundation or tinted moisturizer. For best results use upward brush strokes.”

I am used to applying liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer using my fingers. I have tried this brush and it works just as well as my fingers, if not better.

The bristles are surprisingly very soft and pliable. I was able to easily apply on liquid foundation, evenly on my face and neck. And without the hassle of the foundation sticking to my finger. The foundation brush didn’t irritate my skin and it didn’t pull or tug my skin.

Most make up artists would recommend using a Foundation Brush as it is more gently on the face and its sensitive skin. I think I believe that now. I used to think that applying foundation using a brush would be a hassle, but I don’t think that now.
