The two black dresses I already own are waaay to sexy (read: TOO MUCH CLEAVAGE) so when I saw this black and silver dress which I could wear casually and without exposing too much, I just had to buy it.

I had to buy no slip close black shoes for my culinary classes. Knowing that the Mario Batali wears Crocs, I decided to buy one too.

I have never been a Crocs fan, but this was a necessity. And of late, Crocs have been releasing new styles, some of which might suit my needs, and my taste. So I browsed through the Chimes Specialty Store for the available Crocs. I found several styles that would fit my need, but it was only the Olivia that fit me well.

Being a big girl, with ample uhmmm… “gifts,” I find it hard to find and buy nice and affordable brassieres which fit me just right. It was a nice surprise for me then when I found out that People are People have opened a branch in SM City of Davao. A bigger surprise is that they are selling cute and sexy undies. Didn’t know they did.

A few months ago, a blogger friend was going into the corporate world for the first time. And having had no experience working in an office, she had the problem of not knowing which clothes are appropriate for work. Moreover, she didn’t think she has enough clothes for work.

I offered her these simple tips:

• Bottoms in neutral colors. Skirts and slacks in black, grey, and khaki or chocolate brown are your best bets. They’re easy to maintain (clean) and easy to mix and match with tops. When buying bottoms, I usually think of the tops I already have. I only buy a bottom if I can wear or pair it with at least 5 tops.
• Comfortable tops. Your tops should be comfortable enough to be worn from your house, while commuting, and at work. Your tops must not be too revealing. Avoid white tops or tops that are easily soiled, unless necessary. As a rule, I only buy a top if I can pair it with at least two bottoms I already own or plan to buy.

Glorietta… Greenbelt… Alabang Town Center… Trinoma… Serendra… Bonifacio High Street… and coming very soon… ABREEZA!

I am a big, big, BIG fan of the Ayala Malls. I love hanging out at Serendra, BHS and Greenbelt. Whenever my cousins and I meet up in Manila, whether to eat out, have coffee and desserts, or to watch a movie, you can bet it’s going to be at Serendra/BHS or at Greenbelt. And if only I had the moolah, I’d shop til I die in those malls.

I’m giddy excited because All Flip-Flops just opened a branch at SM City Davao. There are already countless stores and shops that sell Havaianas here in Davao but most of those are far from where I live. SM Davao, on the other hand, is a stone’s throw away from where I live.
