What started out as a brand of golf shirts in the 1950s has evolved into a brand synonymous with stylish comfort. Original Penguin was originally designed by Abbott Pederson, a golf enthusiast.
Penguin shirts were the first to have what is called an “action gusset,” a piece of fabric that is sewn in the underarm area. It prevents the shirt from ripping when its wearer performs a golf swing. Stylish, comfortable, and practical. That’s what Penguin was known for.
Summer is ending here in out tropical side of the world, but I’d like to share a great halter summer dress I bought from SOUL…
It’s purple. In a dark shade. With a bold floral print which I wouldn’t usually go for, but my friends insisted. And I didn’t regret buying this.
I don’t usually buy clothes with crazy prints and I was about to buy a boring top with some embellishments when Brendel coaxed me into trying out this stretch halter top. Yes, it’s a top and I was supposed to wear it with leggings.
To match my pretty Mahogany Brown Hair, I picked a striped brown cover-up for the island hopping leg of the legendary epic of the Davao Food Appreciation Tour 2010.

As one of the few ladies left playing in Day 2 of the Poker Face Araw ng Dabaw Tournament, I certainly caught some attention. Not just because of my poker skills, but also because of the short gold dress that I wore that day. It was definitely eye-catching.
By itself, the gold dress is already a head turner. Coupled with a belt with gold applique and zipper details, the dress accentuated my body shape even better.

I strutted my best once again as I joined another poker tournament. And I received great feedback because of my game and my look.
