CACI Hydratone Facial

For my new monthly beauty ritual, I tried out CACI Face and Body Centre‘s Hydratone Facial.

The Hydratone Facial is a facial treatment from CACI International. It was developed to treat individuals who have to maximize their little free time to get the best possible and most efficient facial treatment. The Hydratone Facial takes a maximum of 30 minutes.

The Hydratone Facial combines micro-current hydratone rolles and a hydro smoothing gel mask that is infused with collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and vitamin E. The gel mask is designed to be electrically conductive, allowing it to work well with the rollers.

The treatment makes the face hydrated and the skin tighter. It helps to restore muscle tone and firmness, while moisturizing the face. It helps to correct skin imperfections caused by aging and sun damage.

The Hydratone Facial is unique in that the gel mask contains Hyaluronic acid (HA). According to Vitamin Stuff,

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a glycosaminoglycan (GAG), which is a substance that attaches to collagen and elastin to form cartilage. HA not only helps keep the cartilage that cushions joints strong and flexible, but also helps increase supplies of joint-lubricating synovial fluid…..

It is found in large concentrations in the extracellular matrix (ECM), which is the fluid-filled space between cells. HA locks moisture into the ECM, keeping collagen and elastin moist and promoting a youthful appearance.

Hyaluronic acid is gaining popularity in the cosmetic and medical industries. Cosmetic products containing hyaluronic acid claim to hydrate the skin, allowing it to appear smoother and more radiant. Clinical studies have shown that it also helps wounds heal more quickly, and can reduce the appearance of both old and new scars.

I did feel refreshed after my Hydratone Facial. And now, weeks after my first treatment, my skin looks good even if I usually lack sleep and have been out in the sun.
