Buying Jeans

Because I lost weight and most of my old jeans don’t fit me anymore, I was shopped for a new pair of jeans last week and here’s what I found out…

Brand F Skinny Jeans: PhP 999; very tight fit for not so skinny girls

Brand P Skinny Jeans: PhP 1,299; nice fit but very expensive

Bench OJ Skinny Jeans: PhP 699 minus 10% discount = PhP 629.10; nice fit even for a not so skinny girl like me but I still have to have it cut

Unknown brand Straight Cut Jeans with nice embroidery from tiangge: PhP225; I wasn’t allowed to fit it inside the store but the one I got was the right size and length

It was an arduous task trying and fitting many pairs of jeans in different cuts and colors, and it was kinda frustrating to try out ill-fitting jeans. Apparently my booty are too big to fit the jeans that fit my waist line so it was kinda hard to find the perfect pair that was not too tight on my butt and not too loose on the waist.

Obviously I bought the last two options and I am happy with my purchases because they were sooo cheap and they both fit me so well. :)

hey. nice blog you got here. i’m into shopping too and if you’re really looking for great jeans, Levi’s is still at the top of my list. their most affordable denim is at P1,200. it might be a bit pricey but the quality can’t be beaten. :-)

@dyosa – Yeah… well, I also love Levi’s and the price is not that expensive considering the quality of the jeans. Unfortunately, there aren’t Levi’s outlets here in the City.

I stand corrected, both Chimes and GMall department stores sell Levi’s jeans. But according to my cousin the cheapest are PhP4,000.

from my personal experience, levi’s doesn’t have a great fit for the western body types (the ones w/ the big butts!) the best pa rin ang GAP, though we don’t have it here. I heard it’s going to open it’s own store in greenbelt5. In Style in Glorietta3 used to carry it, along w/ old navy and banana republic. A bit pricy though but super worth it.

U might also want to try mango. They do have nice fitting jeans but the bigger sizes come in 1 or 2 pieces and easily gets out of stock. :(
